Cisco to Put R&D Center in Korea

Cisco says it’s going to put an R&D center in South Korea and invest upwards of $2 billion in the country over the next five years including $500 million in loans and investments in local IT and communications concerns. It’s planning to raise a $40 million investment fund. Separately, CEO John Chambers also promised that the pace of Cisco acquisitions would pick up.
