Tim Berners-Lee Kicks Off W3 Foundation

World Wide Web inventor Tim Berners-Lee is starting a World Wide Web Foundation, set to launch early next year, to “advance a web that is open and free” and find a way to introduce that 80% of the world’s population still enjoying normal, pleasant, Luddite little lives to Internet time. The foundation is supposed to stick up for democracy, free speech and the freedom of Internet users to access the content they want.
